Pop-Off Pressure Relief Valve

Full lift : a DIFFERENT concept of relief valve.

When actuated by an overpressure, a traditional pressure relief valve opens, discharging the excess water through the bypass port and resetting the working pressure.

The VS 1200 FL is a full lift pop-off safety valve: once activated, this valve remains fully open, keeping the pressure in the system at a minimum safe value of approximately 50 bar.

When VS 1200 FL is actuated:

• The operator cannot keep on working at high pressure.
• The discharge of water can be stopped only by switching off the pump.
• The root causes of the overpressure must be found and the problem fixed.
• Operates like a rupture disk but it is adjustable and reusable.
• Safer than a classic pressure relief valve.
